The Toronto Enterprise Fund is a unique funding partnership between United Way Greater Toronto and the three levels of government: the City of Toronto, the Ministry of Community and Social Services - Ontario Disability Support Program; and the Homelessness Partnering Strategy, a program funded by Employment & Social Development Canada, and administered by the City of Toronto. The partners have committed over $1 million annually to the Fund since inception.
In 2015/16, the Polar Foundation, a major donor of United Way, pledged $1 million over 4 years to provide capital for new social enterprises to grow and expand. For more information on Polar, click here.
